USgathering is a social sculpture project
We connect sustainable development, the environment, and social networks through art and interactive experiences with communities, especially with kids. For the last ten years, our work has revolved around the process of using material “things" or "objects" that people normally use for a short time and then discard, having classified them as “trash”.
Having previously worked with communities in Spain, Peru and Mexico, we are very happy to start our projects in Madison in collaboration with the Madison Public Library Foundation, the Madison Art Commission and the Bubbler Program at Madison Public Library.
How to Participate in the project collecting your Tetra Paks:
If you are interested in participate, just follow this instructions, because the used boxes will be transformed in art material for the piece, we need all of them be clean and dry. You can bring them to any of the Madison Public Library Branches and ask for the gathering point #WEgather.
