Bubbler Programming iN Neighborhood Libraries
Bringing Hands-on Learning into Nine Madison Libraries
Bubbler Maker Corps
Maker Ed supports the Bubbler in the design and implementation of pop-up maker programs throughout the city of Madison. This includes all neighborhood libraries as well as other outreach sites such as summer school, safe haven sites and community centers.
The Maker Corps program is designed to host a new artist every two months, allowing them space to experiment while further exploring their community and their practice. The goals of the program include:
- Offering an open space for the public to learn, share, & create through various, ever-changing mediums
- Providing professional development & support for teaching artists & experts in the community
- Connecting artists to the community and the community to artists
