Julie VonDerVellen
Epilogue
November - December 2014
Human emotions play a role in how the brain records a memory. Not only do our feelings help encode the moment, but they are believed to aid in the recollection of the experience. Elusive, ephemeral events are mentally captured through the intensity of our emotional states. Julie VonDerVellen’s work redefines the traditional book structure while narrating the union between emotion and memorization.
