Sisters Sachi and Laura Komai, who founded Anthology, a paper and craft shop located on State Street, joined the Bubbler for a residency exploring the possibilities of paper. From book collages to garlands, workshop participants were invited to weave their own stories with patterns and varied materials.
Both artists exhibited alongside fellow Bubbler residents Victor Castro and Barbara Landes in the 2014 exhibition Bubbler Made and had a duo show in 2018 titled Line and Color Are Sisters.
