Between Two Lakes, Presented Between Two Colors

January - February 2016

Between Two Lakes, Presented Between Two Colors is the culmination of a project about Madison’s isthmus, concerning the paradox of open spaces that are oftentimes closed. "The evidence for this claim is seen all around us; indeed, it is at the heart of our city. My exhibit explores both the openness and closed-ness of everyday life in this part of the city, depicting people as they contribute to the meaning of the isthmus and  on ambiguities found in this space," the artist said.
