Artist Statement:

I moved to Madison from Atlanta, Georgia having been here all of a long weekend with my wife. We wanted something better for our family and so we flew up in the dead of winter to see if Wisconsin might suit us.

Our first hours here we found ourselves on the frozen shore of Lake Wingra. I took a photo of my wife staring out across the ice and I knew we had found our new home.

We've been here two years now and every day we revel in discovering something new about the state. There are stories everywhere; stories untold.

My higgledy piggledy analog collages are my way of exploring the state's stories through glue sticks and scissors. There's always another turn in the road for me to find treasures in. There are treasures everywhere.
